My name is Hasna Gulbdan Akbari. My family is originally from beautiful Badghis, but I was lucky enough to grow up in Herat and Kabul. This journey through different cities taught me a lot about life. I am currently a tenth-grade student, and since I was a child, I have always loved learning and looked for any opportunity to develop my mind.<\/p>\n
Learning to write, learning to hope
\nOne of the best moments of my life was the \u201cKamiyab Durr Essay Contest\u201d. I worked hard on my writing and was very happy to win second place. This contest helped me believe in my creativity and learn how to express my inner voice. Life has taught me a very important lesson: a girl\u2019s voice should never be hidden; it should be heard loud and clear.<\/p>\n
Rising Through Difficulties
\nI know that living in limited and difficult circumstances is very difficult. But I decided to use these challenges to become stronger. I didn\u2019t want my dreams to become a habit of misery. With a strong will and true self-confidence, I began to build a brighter path for my future. I learned that the worst thing is to get used to not trying. I wanted to keep trying every day.<\/p>\n
A Golden Dream for the Future
\nMy biggest and most golden dream is to study neurosurgery. I want to become a highly skilled neurosurgeon and use my knowledge and abilities to help my community. My goal is not just to heal people physically, but to bring hope and light to families who are suffering. I want to be a source of strength for my country.<\/p>\n
My message to you
\nMy message to all my brave sisters and all young people is simple: Don\u2019t wait for someone to open the way for you. You are the master of your own destiny. Take every opportunity to learn and grow. Effort and hope are lights that never go out. If you believe in yourself, you are unstoppable.<\/p>\n
